Cataract surgery

The major part of the products made by OPHTEC are implantable artificial lenses meant for cataract. These lenses replace the natural, opaque lens.
   

Refractive surgery

ARTISAN and ARTIFLEX lenses are used for refractive surgery to correct myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. They are unique patented products made by OPHTEC only.
  

Trauma surgery

OPHTEC's iris reconstruction implants are used in cases of iris defects caused by accidents (trauma) or congenital reasons. With the aid of colored materials the missing parts of the iris are replaced in order to ensure that the right amount of light enters the eye so that the patient is no longer hindered by excessive bright light.
