OPHTEC update on COVID-19


Dear all,

In this time of uncertainty and with the outcome of the COVID-19 pandemic still very unclear, OPHTEC’s priority is to ensure the protection of all our (global) employees and their families, patients and business relationships.

Alongside this, we will enable the delivery of products and services for as long as the authorities will allow us to do so. To achieve this, we have robust continuity plans in place, preparing us for unexpected events and to meet your needs and the needs of our patients.

Most of our employees will be working remotely from home and all traveling has been cancelled. Our Production plant is still up and running, albeit under strict precautions with respect to hygiene and personal contact. 

Our sales and sales support teams will be continuously available to help you. Communication can be done by telephone, email or skype.

The Clinical and Regulatory teams will continue with their work to ensure continuity of our critical medical processes. These are worrying and exceptional times and at OPHTEC we are doing everything to ensure you will have access to the products you need while at the same time protecting the people close to you.

Finally, I would like to applaud the entire medical community for the outstanding work being done in speeding the recovery of the thousands of infected patients worldwide and containing the spread of the corona virus.
