Enrique received the award for his professional career of over 35 years where he contributed in several milestones in modern medicine, such as endoscopic surgery, femtosecond lasers and currently intraocular lenses. Throughout his career, Enrique has excelled as a technical trainer, teacher, product specialist, manager, and director in innovative healthcare companies. But Marquez’s contributions go beyond his professional endeavors. Enrique has also actively supported the Roma Project Foundation, a pedagogical research initiative benefitting individuals with intellectual disabilities, particularly Down Syndrome (Roma Project Foundation).
