Data processing lens calculation
OPHTEC's Artisan, Artiflex and Precizon IOLs require a lens calculation to determine the required dioptric power. This calculation can be done using the online calculator or by sending an inquiry to calculations@ophtec.com. The desired IOL can then be ordered.
In the above cases, OPHTEC may process personal data on behalf of the requestor. In case no processing agreement is in place with OPHTEC, OPHTEC considers itself a processor. OPHTEC will only use the received data for the above purposes and the data is not publicly accessible. The retention period of the data used for lens calculation is conformed to local legislation.
At all times it is urged to send patient data anonymized to OPHTEC.
