Bridging the Presbyopia
Treatment Gap

During the Winter ESCRS meeting Prof. Dr. Güell shared his insights and clinical experiences with Artiplus. As he outlined the needs of young presbyopic patients and the limitations of current procedures, he noted:

“Today, the most common surgical strategies to deal with presbyopia are corneal refractive surgery and crystalline lens surgery. Especially in the myopic group, this makes no sense when you now have another way to deal with it with a phakic IOL like Artiplus.”
